Adam Lachman would be my first choice for Rockland City Council.

Wed, 10/26/2022 - 1:45pm

As colleague of Adam Lachman’s on the staff of Senator King, I can think of no better candidate for the Rockland City Council than Adam.

Adam has been the driver of statewide efforts supporting the forest and seafood economies, leading to industry growth and innovation for the future.

Adam has been the leader in bringing historic broadband funding to the State, driving economic development and business opportunity.   His input on the bipartisan infrastructure bill assured Maine would benefit from federal actions.

He recognizes the implications of decisions on the entire community from the property- taxpayer to the business owner, ensuring that the full impacts of proposals are considered prior to voting.  Adam has business experience to overlay on his public service that informs his decisions.

Through his statewide work, Adam knows what supports successful communities and can bring those lessons to Rockland’s future.  He is a ready collaborator able to bring out the best in others and share the credit.

Adam cares about the future of the City of Rockland.  Adam Lachman would be my first choice for Rockland City Council.

Chris Rector, former Knox County Senator, lives in Thomaston.
