Merryspring online talk to discuss Apps for Identifying Wildlife

Event has passed

John Fromer will lead an online presentation called, Apps for Identifying Wildlife, hosted by Merryspring Nature Center, on Tuesday, April 23, at 12 p.m.

Ever wonder what that bird song is? What’s that flower or tree? Never seen that insect and wonder what it is?

Many of the answers can be found in various nature apps on your smart phone. Download some easy-to-use apps, point your phone’s camera at the subject, and the app will tell you all about it. You’ll see pictures and hear the many songs that one bird can sing. Observations may be uploaded to the cloud to be shared with other users. Citizen Science is fun and easy to do, according to Merryspring, in a news release. This talk will cover the most popular apps for nature and how you can get the most from them.

This talk is part of Merryspring’s Online Winter Talk series, co-sponsored by Camden Riverhouse Hotel. Online Talks are held as Zoom webinars.

Online Talks are open to everybody, free of charge.

Merryspring currently does not record nor distribute Tuesday Talks.
