Event in Rockport to recognize World Tai Chi and Qigong Day

ROCKPORT — Johnstone Chiropractic Center is holding a free event in recognition of World Tai Chi and Qigong Day, Saturday, April 27, 2024.
A local group will gather Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Rockport Marine Park, 111 Pascal Avenue, in Rockport.
Open to the public, all are welcome.
World Tai Chi and Qigong Day started as a grassroots effort to bring attention to rapidly growing evidence supporting the practice of Tai Chi and Qigong as a means of promoting health and healing. Tai Chi and Qigong can connect people worldwide in a unified effort to promote health and celebrate life. This annual event is held on the last Saturday in April, and has now spread to over 80 countries on six continents, according to a news release.
