I’m writing to voice my support for Jason Trundy as the next Sheriff of Waldo County. I have served as the Waldo County Commissioner for District 2, including the towns of Frankfort, Jackson, Monroe, Prospect, Searsport, Swanville, Stockton Springs and Winterport, since 2009. Over the past 13 years I have been able to observe Jason’s leadership and valuable contribution to the public safety of Waldo County. 

  Jason believes in providing compassionate community-based law enforcement services and has created many partnerships that have directly benefited our community. These partnerships not only provide valuable resources to our law enforcement personnel to address needs within the community but have also resulted in the acquisition of over 2 million dollars of grant awards. These grant awards and resources play a critical role in meeting the many social issues encountered by our law enforcement personnel. 

  Jason’s diverse experience over the past 28 years of service at the Sheriff’s Office has provided him with a firm knowledge of both the Correctional and Patrol operations. This knowledge coupled with his dedication to the safety of our community makes him the clear choice for Sheriff of Waldo County. I strongly encourage you to join me in voting for Chief Deputy Trundy as our next Sheriff of Waldo County.on November 8th, 2022.
