Belfast Police arrest four on drug, warrant charges

    BELFAST — On August 4, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Belfast Police Department received a 911 call of a suspicious person in the woods near Park Hill Road and Route 3 (Belmont Ave). When Officers arrived, they observed a female acting peculiar in the roadway who appeared to be under the influence of some sort of narcotics and that she had a needle in her hand, according to a news release from the Belfast PD.

    The officers spoke with the woman, police said, and learned that she had allegedly, “just purchased the drugs at 361 Belmont Ave, which is a house just around the corner from where police found her,” and named the seller.

    The Belfast Police Department, Waldo County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency personnel obtained and executed a drug search warrant at 361 Belmont Ave, the release said.

    As a result of the search, police located illegal narcotics, including cocaine and fentanyl, as well as a large amount of cash, “evidence of drug sales and drug paraphernalia,” the release said.

    The following individuals were arrested:

    Bridget Sawyer, 29, of Bucksport, was charged with possession of a scheduled Drug (W) Class D and Violation of Bail Conditions.

    Seminole Littlefield, 56, of Belfast, was charged with Unlawful Trafficking Scheduled Drugs (W) Class B.

    The investigation also determined that Semonie Littlefield was violating bail conditions.

    Dakotah Simpson, of Swanville, 21, was arrested on two warrants out of Bangor for Failure to Appear.

    Jessica Lee, 35, of Washington, was arrested on one warrant out of Rockland for Failure to appear.
