Robert Day, 80, of Belfast, died Jan. 15 after a pickup truck hit him while he was walking across Lincolnville Ave. near Belfast Variety at approximately 6 p.m.

According to the Belfast Police Dept., Jesse Johnson-Rodgers, 37, was driving the vehicle when it hit Robert Day. He was fatally injured by the impact and succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident, said the Belfast P.D.

The crash is currently under investigation with no charges at this time.
