Vivaldi’s vivacious Four Seasons performed by one of the most significant artists of his generation, violinist Benjamin Beilman; the work portrays a year filled with hope, flowering growth, flourishing abundance, and the quiet gathering of energy for tomorrow. Singing birds, murmuring streams, barking dogs, drunken country dancers, and an intense thunderstorm can all be heard in Vivaldi’s vivid masterpiece. The candlelit concert also features an exceptional ensemble of string soloists led by Geoff Nuttall, and marks the return to Bay Chamber of esteemed pianist and harpsichordist, Pedja Muzijevic.
